I Hope Lagos Is Everything You Prayed For
Dear x,
I hope Lagos is everything you prayed for. Seeing how you left the confines of the small town to join the rat race. I hope the smell from the rubbish heap did not leave you rethinking your decision the moment you arrived at Ojota motor park.
You will never get used to the attacking smells that are spread around the city; you will not be able to overlook it either. Heck, it might even leave you mad and frustrated with tears in your eyes. But do not allow the tears to cloud your vision; you need to see clearly so you do not step on shit (both literal and figurative) with your shoes.
